The chaos of the grenades being thrown back and the first few being shot or cut down gave her time to loot some undetonated ordinance from the few that had fallen around her, disabling her saber and attaching it to her lower back again. Not much was useful anymore, she picked up two incendiary grenades and one of the blasters along with to additional ammo cells for it. Leaving the blaster set to the three round burst fire for the accuracy she used her force concealment again fading into the smoke easily and waited for the next wave of troopers to push forward into the atrium.
As the next wave pushed in through the smoke and fire she fired into their ranks aiming for the weak points of their armor while they couldn't easily see her not that it would last long. Clearly they could see through the smoke which meant thermal filters on their optical arrays. Most of her shots missed their intended targets after the first one went down revealing the blaster resistant nature of their armor. Casting aside the blaster she primed the incendiary grenades and threw them with just enough time for them to detonate in the closest part of the opening they were pouring through near her. Her saber was in her hand again as she was left without a weapon, flourishing to deflect the barrage of blaster bolts ripping through the newly raging flames she had just added to the area. A wide area was being covered until they could locate their target the flames rendering the thermal filter useless for the moment. The biggest problem would be when the flames eventually died out, she was chiding herself for throwing her saber at the sith who had thrown the shuttle.

Really, we're throwing shuttles now....what is this a pissing contest with the force? she thought to herself with a slight sigh. Her eyes turned to watch as one of the people who had been in the lab jumped up onto the the shuttle as troopers poured into the area from transports that set down after the grand entrance of the sith lords. She always forgot that she couldn't hide herself from thermal scopes since most people she worked with didn't really use them. There was s slight bit of surprise as the Cathar troopers fired a salvo towards her position, only to see the one on the shuttle save her ass and cast the grenades back at the troopers who had fired them. Well if the troopers knew she was there then others would know soon enough so why not have change tactics and harass the sith lords for a moment before helping clear out some of the troopers.
Detaching her sabers from the mount on her lower back she sent one unignited hurtling through the air in an arc from behind the rubble towards Abbadon. She followed the the saber using a burst of force speed along with strength to propel her at the troopers the saber still in hand igniting as she started to deflect the blaster fire coming at her and dodging what she couldn't deflect. The saber spinning towards Abbadon ignited moments before it came into potential striding range not that she expected it to hit him.
She had managed to dash up the troopers who had just taken their own grenades and was cutting down the ones still standing. The purple blade in her hand cutting through them and their armor. The smell of molten metal and rapidly burned flesh filling her nostrils causing her face to scrunch up a little bit. The smoke from the grenades stung her eyes causing them to water a little bit blurring her vision slightly. She never had gotten used to fighting large groups of enemies but there was always a first time for everything. This trial by fire would be just that and she hoped she could make it out of this alive though her chances were dwindling the longer this fight was drug out.

As she feared and expected death and chaos descended upon the planet and upon them, the "sith" were opportunists ever since the fall of the original sith empire. Strike where you can and strike hard to ensure you crush those you have targeted under your heel. As the alarms went off and people started to plan their methods of dealing with this she started to gradually erase her presence from their senses for she wasn't crazy like Adi or suicidal like the troopers. While unfortunate there was always profit to be made and she did have a ship capable of smuggling things of import from the soon to be ashen surface of this world. While the staff scrambled to save what they could in the chaos she took her time to collect a few items she was fairly certain would benefit her and the universe to be taken from the quaking walls of the RDMC.
Normally in situations like this she would slip out the back or some other escape route she had planned out but there was no safe exit here. Keeping her presence suppressed as she felt the malice and arrogance descend upon the RDMC followed shortly by the sound of something crashing into the building causing the whole place to quake. Steadying herself against the shock wave that rippled through the building she committed to a plan of action that was fully against her normal actions. Green eyes hardening for the ordeal to come as she made her way through the halls to the reception area.
The scene she walked in on made her sigh slightly as she looked at the sith lords who had landed here at the RDMC. What was it with them that made them all have to be so flashy and what the hell possessed them to need to crash ships into things. She would never understand the need for wanton destruction that they seemed to live and die by. In her eyes they were self-destructive imperfect beings but then again the self-rightious arrogance that their counterparts exhibited wasn't any better. It looked to her like two of them were going to lock horns right away while there were others less quick to act. She in turn took her time to read the flow of the battle and to familiarize herself with the weight and uniqueness of each of the darksiders' force presence so that she wouldn't mistake one for another. Her mental attacks would be wasted right now, she would need to wait until fatigue set in and start to chip away at their fortitude. She would need to find a physical place to hide while she studied them and waited for the right time to interfere since the force concealment would end up taking too much of a toll on her with this many people to deceive. Finding a large enough piece of rubble to hold up behind for now wondering if she was the hunter or about to be the hunted.

Having nothing to add to things being said due to her limited scientific knowledge she sat back and watched people eating the food provided still and eyeing people in general trying to get a better read on them. She started to check local listings for freight missions as a way to pass the time, most of them were for things she didn't want on her ship or it would be pointless to carry so little. The guy that had been escorted into the room was starting to act a little strange but she just chalked it up to stress of the environment. Her mind was on other things like what she would have to go through should her saber crystals become infected, would she have to cast aside the whole saber or just the crystals. Being prepared had kept her alive so far and well she liked to make sure she had someway out of things when shit hit the fan. She also wasn't adverse to the addition of more soldiers, that meant people who could keep their cool under pressure and rapidly changing circumstances.

While she looked on she noticed the Jedi have a minor muscle memory freak out at the Zabrak's lightsaber being lit for a few moments. She kind of wondered what he would do if she ignited her sabers in this area. Instead she just munched on her food and listened in on the conversation.
"Lower population reduced the infection severity doesn't it? Wouldn't that mean the caves might be less likely to have been tainted with the virus?" From what little she knew of the caves she didn't think the inhabitants of Dantooine would venture into the caves since they were most likely infested with local wildlife. Then again she wasn't sure of the state of any crystal cashes due to her sabers having been handed down to her what seemed like a long time ago now. "Adi I'm not going on suicide missions unless the pay makes it worth it, unlike you I'm not crazy."

Not being overly inclined to work in the science fields of the universe so most of what was around her she didn't know much if anything about. Calm eyes panned around again as more people were still showing up. Taking a piece of the food that was provided for them she munched on it slowly just to ensure that she had ample energy to deal with what was going on around her. As the Zabrak spoke to the younger male that Adi had just vouched for she listened in a little curious of their talk about the crystals potentially being able to be infected due to their semi-living status. What she found more interesting was the color of the zabrak's lightsaber, she might have to ask him about that at a later date once her status as a force adept was revealed to those around her.

Mel made her way into the complex and tailed Adi keeping her eyes and ears open as she did so. She didn't really speak to anyone or show signs of wanting to at the moment. She was taking in the actions of those around her, while she shouldn't be surprised she still was at how many people knew Adi. Ever since her landing on the planet she had been concealing her force presence so that she wouldn't stand out too much to the other force adepts around her.
Taking note of the troopers and their conversation about why they were here and if it was safe for them to be with past events coloring perceptions of them in the eyes of some. The Zabrak was interesting in his own right but she was paying more attention to the clearly worn down but still proud Scientist or Doctor who was speaking with Adi all this time. She also hadn't missed the man who seemed to be following her as she moved through the complex though so far he had shown no signs of harboring her any ill will. Her instincts were nagging at her that things were going too smoothly so far and she was waiting for something to go wrong in some way or another, it always did after all. So she kept vigilant for when that something went wrong while doing her best not to look sketchy due to her vigilance.

Once docking was done and she paid to top off her fuel she disembarked her ship making sure it was locked up tight and made her way to find Adi who was most likely in the main complex already.

Dropping out of hpyerspace just after Adi's freighter she kept some space between her ship and his while he was presumably being cleared for landing. She took the time to go over her current fuel levels and open storage space so her numbers would be accurate when she got around to talking to someone about transporting for the RDC.
The static laden communication came across her coms and she provided her credentials and was cleared for landing and asked for a hanger a little further from the main entrances just to be on the safe side should her prediction of what will most likely happen come about.
She was directed to a hanger and made her descent into the atmosphere of Honoghr.

The hum of her hyperdrive spinning up was a welcome sound to her ears along with being in the expanse of space where she could go anywhere should trouble prove to be more than her little freighter could handle. Melania confirmed their destination and expected landing area with Adi over coms before she engaged her hyperdrive vanishing from the space over Naboo.

Being a freelancer it made these jobs easier to take and well she wasn't weighed down by the Jedi sense of right and wrong. She had been keeping to herself during the trip after getting contracted as a special guard for some prisoner or another she hadn't really bothered to learn his name. The trip had been going so well and then as expected something went wrong. Alarms sounded as pirates started attacking then boarding the star destroyer which was her cue to take her place down in the prison block.
She arrived not long before the affirmation of the direction the enemy would be coming from. Pulling her hair back into a ponytail and cracking a few of her joints as she looked down the hall to the indicated elevator. She checked the placement of her two lightsabers at the small of her back under her duster, the only weapons she carried on her today.
"I'll provide mobile backup for everyone as best I can with the confined space available to us."
She actually started to pace in a small area as her need to keep moving started to kick in, she wasn't a powerhouse in any sense of the word she was going to be more useful doing hit and run tactics. Moving from target to target as she saw fit or as she was needed to in order to provide distractions and possibly give one of her fellow teammates an opening to attempt to exploit. She had her own bag of skills but most of them would be of very limited effectiveness here with so little space to move about. Her hands moved up to the small of her back as she took hold of her sabers but hadn't ignited the blades yet, no need to make herself any more of an obstacle.

Mal kept pace with Adi easy enough on the two block walk back to the spaceport. This wasn't the first time she had landed and left in mere hours and probably wouldn't be the last. So some eggheads were working on a cure or vaccine for the plague currently sweeping through the galaxy. Well she could definitely make a profit off this but she also knew there would be others either wanting to stop it from being completed or want to take it for themselves and sell it to the highest bidders and make their own profits.
Getting clearance to clear out one of the docks was never hard in the bigger cities since they were always wanting the docks freed up for new arrivals. She pulled her own freighter alongside the one Adi was in and set in the coordinates for their destination. While not being a jedi meant she was okay with some of the darker aspects of the universe it didn't mean she wanted mass suffering to be allowed to continue if she could do something about it. Hopefully it wouldn't be an overly eventful trip but all of her experience and instincts were telling her it wouldn't be that easy.

Night time on Kashyyk, the combatants are in the shadowlands (on the ground) shadows and the sounds of beasts are plentiful. The ground is damp and the air humid with large roots making an obstacle course of the field. The Forest is filled with vicious beasts that may turn up at any time in packs big enough to send the natives running for the nearest elevator to the nearest canopy settlement.
Roots vary in size and reach up to 40 ft in the air with open space below them and are generally moss covered making them slick and harder to be sure footed on.

She was amused that she was able to sneak up on the great Adi like this, then again it wasn't a place for him to be on guard. She had used her ability to hide her force presence when meeting him in less populated areas before so as far as she knew he didn't know about her being force sensitive and would like to keep it that way as long as possible.
"I just finished a job so it wouldn't be a problem to burn a little fuel to go there with you. So what has the Great Adi been up to since we last met?"
With him being a regular employer of hers she didn't ever sell any intel on him specifically not that it wouldn't get around that he was seen somewhere. She had fallen into a matched pace with him as they made their way towards the docks. She studied him just to see if she could pick up something new about him, a little game of her own making to keep her mind and senses sharp. He still came off as slightly closed off from the world around him, not exactly guarded just distant as if he wasn't willing to invest energy into others easily. Though that was kind of the feeling she always got from him even during their first meeting. Her force crystals seemed to like to resonate slightly when near him as if feeding off his presence in the force and the energies that moved around him naturally. He was actually one of the few people who have seen her without the mask covering her lower face, the one that was in place now just to hopefully ward of infection even though it seemed as if the city had done a good job rounding up and quarantining any infected here.

Making her way through Theed on her way back to her ship having bought some provisions which should be at her dock by now she took in the sights through the mass of people moving about. Weaving among the bodies around her occasionally bumping into someone because not everyone was paying attention to those around them. She halted momentarily as a sense of deja vu washing over her alerting her to someone familiar being near her. Green eyes scanning the crowd as she reached out with the force to try and locate who it was near her. As soon as her senses touched him she came down off high alert, Adi wasn't her enemy and frankly she hoped he never would be.
If he sensed her he didn't show it as she made her way over to him, laying a hand on his shoulder to get his attention, "Wouldn't happen to have any work for a down on their luck transporter would you?" She asked with a slightly playful tone to her voice, it was rare that she was actually down on her luck since she had the ability to influence things to go her way when needed. Though honestly speaking she was looking for another job and well Adi usually had one for her.
