Theed was a cultured city with elegant architecture and a unified, harmonious style borne from rebuilding after a troubled ancient past. Its domed buildings maintained a handcrafted aesthetic, although areas such as the sleek and mechanistic Theed power generator, a popular city attraction hosting regular tours, stood in stark contrast to this style. Theed was the capital city of the Naboo, a society of humans who lived on the planet. It was home to the Royal House of Naboo's palace, which was situated on the Palace Plaza. Other points of interests included the Palace Courtyard, the power generator, and the headquarters of both the Royal Naboo Security Forces and the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corps. Theed also housed several universities.
Ne'tra Ruyot settled gently down in a relatively clear square just large enough for it to fit. Hettyc and R34Per moved down the ramp and secured the ship behind them. They moved carefully through town, their destination wasn't far but they weren't sure exactly what they'd find in town either... Desperate people are often hard to predict.
A few hours later they had a couple of repulsor sleds ferrying most of their booze from their cargo hold into one of the few open bars. The owner had plenty of creds, but those weren't worth much. One of his patrons was happy to trade fuel for most of it, which was fine by Hettyc. He also talked with a Gungan and got a small shipment of the plasma booma's the natives liked to use as hand grenades and dozen of the hydro-static shields. The natives got the last of his shipment to take to their underwater city in return.
R34Per suggested they enjoy a few hours down time while they could. They could also try to wrangle a few pilots or at least a few starships for the Aliit. It was a bit of a journey, but still every little bit would help. So they took a booth in the back corner, Hettyc working his way through a local scotch with his bucye sitting on the bench beside him. R34Per stood at the end of the table, discretely chatting with Naboo's many electronic denizens while keeping an auditory sensor sifting through the rooms conversations for anyone who might be of interest to them.
Making her way through Theed on her way back to her ship having bought some provisions which should be at her dock by now she took in the sights through the mass of people moving about. Weaving among the bodies around her occasionally bumping into someone because not everyone was paying attention to those around them. She halted momentarily as a sense of deja vu washing over her alerting her to someone familiar being near her. Green eyes scanning the crowd as she reached out with the force to try and locate who it was near her. As soon as her senses touched him she came down off high alert, Adi wasn't her enemy and frankly she hoped he never would be.
If he sensed her he didn't show it as she made her way over to him, laying a hand on his shoulder to get his attention, "Wouldn't happen to have any work for a down on their luck transporter would you?" She asked with a slightly playful tone to her voice, it was rare that she was actually down on her luck since she had the ability to influence things to go her way when needed. Though honestly speaking she was looking for another job and well Adi usually had one for her.

A hand touched his shoulder, and Adi jumped a bit. He had his guard down, as he was among friendlies and allies...but when he heard the voice, he relaxed immediately. He recognized it as belonging to someone he had done business with quite a bit....she was one of the better transporters in the galaxy...
....Not to mention, she always charged a fair price.
"Well now, if it isn't my favorite transporter! Hello there. Glad to see you've made it through this madness. I don't have anything up my sleeve right this very moment...but with Nystao in recovery mode, I'm quite sure we can find you some work on Honoghr. We are heading there from here. Tag along...your company is always welcome."
He gave a wide smile, and nodded his head toward the spaceport. They could make the trip in tandem, and just meet up once they got groundside on Honoghr.
"RDMC is on the verge of getting this plague under control. They are nearing completion on the antivirus. Probably wouldn't hurt to get inoculated....wouldn't want you to get infected, ya know?"
She was amused that she was able to sneak up on the great Adi like this, then again it wasn't a place for him to be on guard. She had used her ability to hide her force presence when meeting him in less populated areas before so as far as she knew he didn't know about her being force sensitive and would like to keep it that way as long as possible.
"I just finished a job so it wouldn't be a problem to burn a little fuel to go there with you. So what has the Great Adi been up to since we last met?"
With him being a regular employer of hers she didn't ever sell any intel on him specifically not that it wouldn't get around that he was seen somewhere. She had fallen into a matched pace with him as they made their way towards the docks. She studied him just to see if she could pick up something new about him, a little game of her own making to keep her mind and senses sharp. He still came off as slightly closed off from the world around him, not exactly guarded just distant as if he wasn't willing to invest energy into others easily. Though that was kind of the feeling she always got from him even during their first meeting. Her force crystals seemed to like to resonate slightly when near him as if feeding off his presence in the force and the energies that moved around him naturally. He was actually one of the few people who have seen her without the mask covering her lower face, the one that was in place now just to hopefully ward of infection even though it seemed as if the city had done a good job rounding up and quarantining any infected here.

"Great" Adi....Hmph. Little did she know that there was nothing great about him. He had failed to save the people of Nystao from this plague, he had failed in his vow to protect them...There were quite a few more things that most certainly did not allow him to qualify as 'great'.
However, he did not let his demeanor show his concern. Smiling, he nodded toward the spaceport.
"Ive just been trying to survive, same as the rest of us. We are going to the RDMC to ensure that the ones that are left -do- survive. Once we get there, and give them the samples we acquired on Corellia, they should be able to finish things up. Dr. Bismarck is a genius, and the ones on his team are the best in their fields."
Sure, they were the best, but they were down to about 25 percent of the manpower they had before the outbreak of this Red-Eyed Death.
"If anyone can save us, it's them. Cmon, let's get rolling."
The Arkanian turned, and began the two-block jaunt to the spaceport. It wouldn't take long to get there. Loki, ever silent since this plague began, followed closely behind. The death toll had affected even -him-. Before then, nothing seemed to affect him much, if at all. Once they made it to the spaceport, and the small freighter contained within, Adi would get everyone on board, and then get them airborne. The moment they hit orbit, they would be on their way to Honoghr.
Mal kept pace with Adi easy enough on the two block walk back to the spaceport. This wasn't the first time she had landed and left in mere hours and probably wouldn't be the last. So some eggheads were working on a cure or vaccine for the plague currently sweeping through the galaxy. Well she could definitely make a profit off this but she also knew there would be others either wanting to stop it from being completed or want to take it for themselves and sell it to the highest bidders and make their own profits.
Getting clearance to clear out one of the docks was never hard in the bigger cities since they were always wanting the docks freed up for new arrivals. She pulled her own freighter alongside the one Adi was in and set in the coordinates for their destination. While not being a jedi meant she was okay with some of the darker aspects of the universe it didn't mean she wanted mass suffering to be allowed to continue if she could do something about it. Hopefully it wouldn't be an overly eventful trip but all of her experience and instincts were telling her it wouldn't be that easy.

It didn't take long to make the two block walk to the spaceport, where the group's ship was docked. Mel followed along, as did Loki. Upon boarding the ship, it only took about ten minutes to get everything powered up, and ready to go. After a quick check that everyone was on board, Matango called for, and got, the clearance to depart.
Not waiting even a moment, Matango navigated the small freighter out of the spaceport, and made for orbit.
The hum of her hyperdrive spinning up was a welcome sound to her ears along with being in the expanse of space where she could go anywhere should trouble prove to be more than her little freighter could handle. Melania confirmed their destination and expected landing area with Adi over coms before she engaged her hyperdrive vanishing from the space over Naboo.
