The sound of blaster fire- foot steps muffled by the desert sand. The thrill of the force, so bright- like stars, pure and deep and potent. Though far off in the distance, the signatures of such strong Jedi made Anna think of Master Alora- but even she paled in comparison. The small Jedi's form VII technique made Anna consider creator of the form- and how close they were right now in the universe. Anna wondered what Raven would think if she knew the Seer had been on the same planet as Master Windu- while he was still alive. A thin smirk tugged at the young girl's lips as she rubbed her thumb against her familiar lightsaber and felt her feet hit the padded sand. She tightened her muscles- ready to spring into action, until Loki's call hit her.
The thought had came to her also. The pats was a fragile thing. While the future had yet to impact their current time line- the past, well it was very easy to change. She lifted her lightsaber- the sand spun- the world spun. Her organic, cybernetic eyes darted here and there until Anna simply had to close them and let the force take over. Perhaps that would still her mind- and her sudden dizziness-
It didn't.
Her closed eyelids gave way to the force- and suddenly there was no battle droids- there were only empty sand dunes, and long covered ruins of such a battle. She turned in a slow calculated circle, as if oblivious to the laser fire so close to them. A nonexistent, futuristic wind blew back some sand- revealing a strange chunk of metal that didn't fit with the rest of the mostly burred war ruins. And then she saw it, only part of it, but the familiar insignia of the Wayward Son- only old, mostly buffeted clean by constantly whipping sand.
She snapped her eyes opened and flattened herself against the ground as the sudden image of laser flashes and battle droids flashed into her vision again. Their ship- right near her, no longer embraced by sand. She felt that strange sensation again- like before- like the force was tugging at her- at all of them, trying to pull them back into their timeline. Loki's words rang true. If her vision...of the present- was true, maybe they never made it off Geonosis. Maybe they left a piece of their lives behind in the form of the Wayward Son. She felt Rai's force reaching out, pushing him forward- shining like a beacon to anyone who could sense it. And those others far off- she was sure they would eventually feel it, as the Zabrak had warned.
Slowly, she stood up and staggered back to the safety of the ship. She couldn't fight like this. Reality continued to shift in front of her and she couldn't even trust the force to guide her right now.
They won't listen... Loki.
Making her way inside the ship- she sought out Raxxy and Fritz. She tried to approach as steadily as possible- but every step she took felt like it made the whole ship tilt.
"Hey... is there a way- a way to use the coms to contact only our people?...
She wasn't sure what kind of response she would get- she was sure they were very busy, but she wasn't about to reach out through the force to say anything to anybody- and some things needed to be said before... before her vision became an unfortunate reality.
The answers are always in the back of the book- so thta's where I start reading.
Anna wasn't sure what was happening. While the others saw the happenings outside the view port- Anna saw the true present. While they crashed into the rocky spire- Anna's mind flashed to the past, and the very creation of the planet itself. When they crashed into the sandy surface of the war torn land, the Seer felt the force splintering and fighting to reform itself around her and those here- pulling at them in less than noticeable ways. Anna felt it. They were NOT meant to be here. The entire process turned her stomach- and she stumbled a little as the ship came to a sudden stop- Loki's hold aiding her greatly.
Eventually, she just slid against the wall, slumping on the floor- and looking very confused- a trait not often found in the Seer. They were on Geonosis- During the Clone wars. She knew this, but the sporadic visions in her mind were screaming at her. Every so often, she found herself mistaken what time period she was truly in- but this kind of temporal dysphoria was very new and very strong. For a Seer who knew the twining future- to be trapped in the past...really wasn't settling well with her.
As Adi sent out the armor to survey the area, Anna turned to look at him.
Adieumus... be very careful. We don't know if this is technically our timeline... I- I don't know...
She didn't know- which is what was really driving her crazy. Standing, slowly to her feet, Anna blinked a few times- her mind settling, the visions slowly getting themselves under control, and a sudden feeling that, they did, in fact, have a goal. There was a way out of this. She didn't know what it was, but she was determined to find out. Fate was finally making some inkling of sense.
Looking up at Loki- she shook her head and took hold of her lightsaber.
There's a solution out there... And we have to find it.
Sitting idly by wasn't helping. With a brief nod- the Seer walked out of the med bay, making her way to the exit of the ship. She figured she looked enough like a Jedi- that, should they require help on the ground, she could be a blade while something was done to make the ship flyable again.
Farris felt the jarring impact of the ship as it hit the surface of Geonisis- but, with the slight force stability and his own fluid nature, it wasn't that big of a deal to him. He turned his silver blue eyes to the window- and frowned.
Do you see...This is why the force can be very problematic... Are those battle droids?
Farris blinked and shook his head. He gave a worried glance to Adi as he started controlling the mech suit- but he supposed that as long as the Arcanian wasn't physically going after anybody, it should be fine. Anna seemed to get her second wind back, and Loki....well the big guy could take care of himself.
Well- I'll be here if you need me.... or out there- depending on the situation...
The Polydroxol said, taking some odds and ends and stuffing them into his person.
The answers are always in the back of the book- so thta's where I start reading.
It took a few minutes- but Eventually the medical closet door slid open to reveal a silver skinned humanoid man just tossing on his signature white lab coat as he emerged into the familiar med bay." I don't get to rest often Mr. Zabra,- Especially with this plague attacking you solid bodied beings. Speaking of which..."The Polidroxol turned toward Rai, Adi and the others in the med bay."I should like to help with further production of the cure. I.." He hesitated- taking a few paces toward Adi as the Honogr's smoldering landscape drifted bye. "-We- did the best we could. The only thing to do now- is to look forward. Believe me- I know how heavy an unforgiven spirit can weigh on you- especially if it's yours." He fell silent as the others in the room seamed to grow ill- or respond in different ways. Having been around force users and not, the doctor of many coats knew this wasn't strictly biological. This was some influence of the darkside. And then- the portal opened up before the ship, and the Polidroxol moved with odd fluidity about the med bay, steadying those he could- so no one else got injured- or more injured. Being only a simi solid had it's advantages.
Anna shook her head with a shrug"I mean, I was with Raven but something told me I should stick around here- and now I know why. At leas.... at least I think I do. I- I mean " Suddenly her smile turned to a confused look and her strange eyes seamed to flash. The pull of the dagger on Loki's mind would stop all together- the dark energy seeming to branch out, seeking to touch the new presence of the darkside. briefly, before anyone started reacting- and perhaps a few seconds before the dark changing even began on the other ship, the young Seer suddenly gripped onto Loki's tattered shirt, trembling. "Loki.....It- It's start-" It was as if the breath suddenly abandoned her. Then the tidal wave of dark energy crashed into the ship- making Jedi ill and damaging almost everything it touched in some form or fashion. For a seer- woven within the threads of time, the sensation felt quite like having ones essence ripped in half. She pitched forward, grasping her head and screaming as she collapsed to the floor. The darkside had touched her before. The light has seared her- but this, this was Fate, crying out as its order was made a mockery by those meddling in dark arts.
Anna curled tightly into a shaking ball- breathlessly mouthing something no one could quite understand, but anyone with an ear for the ancient dark languages may feel the work of sorcery- though Anna herself wasn't ground zero. Before anyone could stop her, she fumbled her way to the view window- perhaps very close to Adi, she didn't care- and pressed her shaking frame against the cool duraglass, eyes widening at the sight of the breach in space time.
Her voice came, slow- even and stable now, yet it felt alive with cold rage- some deep anger no true moral could conjure. It wasn't really Anna's voice at all... "What. have. they. done?"
The answers are always in the back of the book- so thta's where I start reading.
As so many people found their way into the medical room, Anna peered over her book- amber eyes flashing oddly. She opened her mouth as if to warn Loki of his collision with the canister- but she was too late. Fate Didn't tell her everything. She noted how worried he was,and with much less effort it had once taken, she stood to her feet- closed her book and smiled up at the large Zabrak.
It's good to see you again. I'm fine, no plague got me- but it looks like something got you.... She indicated his injuries and tattered clothing. Anna herself no longer wore the restrictive neural suite like what felt like so long ago. She'd made an agreement with The Array and it remained a part of her- at least for now. She'd managed to obtain her lightsaber again- a slender hilt with some odd etching on it. How Raven had found it after- well everything that had happened, was beyond even the Seer, but Anna was grateful. If Loki looked hard enough, he could sense the dark pulsating essence from the dagger, still ever present on her person- for Anna never let it out of her sight, for others protection, and herself. Slowly, the young red haired woman turned her gaze to Rai with a soft smile. Do not fret yourself. He's going to be fine. She indicated the Arkanian resting on the med table. Loki, you really should see to your own injuries. I've seen what happens when you neglect them. The girl, who normally sounded aloof, now sounded genuinely worried, not for the Zabrak's life, but simply for his well being. If Zeal had taught her anything- it was, that neglecting your own injuries was far easier than one might believe when a big enough problem presented itself. Zeal could kill without restraint.
Meanwhile, the large canister Loki had so clumsily knocked over- spilled a strange silvery liquid in a large puddle on the floor- which immediately gathered itself up in the nearest corner- rather than spreading out like any other liquid. The essence of irritation might touch the force user's perception- as the silver liquid found its way under the door of the nearest supply closet and vanished.

It came without warning- well sort of. In an instant, the sky was lit on fire. The doom of a once prospering planet that no one saw coming. Well almost no one. It took planning- and silence, but she figured she'd helped get a good number of people off world before the fireworks happened. Pulling strings, making suggestions to the right people. She couldn't outright say anything of course. That was forbidden- some times- like now.
~More life signs appraoching~
I can hear them....
The girl muttered to a faint, computerized voice in the back of her mind. Yes, it could be useful at times but spouting the obvious seemed to be it's general hobby as of late. She turned the page of her book, and huddled tighter against the wall behind a storage crate- far from anyone interested in the ship. Maybe someone noticed her slip on board- maybe not. Regardless. This was the right spot- on board the Wayward Son, and it hadn't even taken off yet!
Luckily, Anna was never late.
Except that one time....
Vibrations- movement- change. Sure the ship had been moved around sense last time The Wayward Ssn's med bay had been in use- but nothing like this. The place would be obviously designed for medical use, and if one thing was certain, it would be organized- perhaps too organized. Rai and the others would have no trouble finding what they needed. Perhaps the only unfamiliar thing was the round metal drum container nestled in the far corner of the room. But everything else would be rather similar.
