BIOGRAPHY: Born the son of an improverished woman in Coronet City, Alkor learned early in life that the world owed him no favors. By the age of five, he had learned dishonesty and sleight of hand from smugglers and lowlives in the Blue Light District, life lessons from people who claimed to understand. Whether they did or not, it helped him survive with a mother who spent her questionable livelihood on spice and other contraband.
Alkor lacked any true parental figure, save for the criminals who gave him advice and- eventually- work. Because of this, his social skills were stunted in development, and he lacked a fundamental understanding of his emotions and how to deal with them. His sense of right and wrong was honed into one that favored strength over weakness, rather than right over wrong.
Eventually, Alkor undertook a more sophisticated criminal lifestyle- that of a killer-for-hire. He became notorious in the Corellian Sector underground for his willingness to take on work that many other assassins were uncomfortable with or terrified to undertake. He enjoyed the act of taking life- it was the first thrill he had ever known, far more fulfilling than any theft.
Until one day, the target was a senator's daughter. He had no qualms with taking her life, but the difficulty of the task proved much higher than anticipated.
That was when the murders caught up with him. In an act of pure rage, induced by both his failure and his desire to survive, to flee from his pursuers, and to remain free, Alkor committed the most horrific atrocity in Corellian history.
Those who witnessed it called him a Demon, because no human could utterly end the lives of so many innocent people in such a barbaric way. He made his stand not far from the house where he grew up, killing anyone he saw as a threat.
Then CorSec managed to detain him.
He stood trial before the High Courts of Corellia, and the prosecutors pushed for the Death Penalty unanimously.
It was the girl who he failed to kill, miraculously, who saved his life. She managed to scrounge records of his birth and seek out his mother, who complied with the authorities after they detoxified her and promised to assist with rehabilitation in exchange for full cooperation. She explained how she had done wrong by her son, and in a display of compassion, the senator's daughter begged that Alkor be shown mercy.
Instead, he was handed a fate that any true Corellian would consider far worse than death. His exile from the planet marked an injustice many still seek to rectify, nearly a decade later.
Word travels fast in the galaxy, however. News of Alkor's exile reached a sect of Dark Force Adepts who sought him out offered him a path toward greater strength. They promised he would never fail again, and that with his skill, he could become among the greatest warriors the galaxy had ever seen.
This Dark Jedi Order did not fail to deliver on their promises. They explained that Alkor's outburst on Corellia was a manifestation of his latent Force Powers, and that with training, he could easily tap into a wellspring that could make him unstoppable.
While the lure of power was seductive, Alkor reaffirmed his desire to be the strongest with his own might. He denied the temptation and goading to give himself over fully to the Dark Arts, and paid for it in blood.
Considered more of a failure than anything, Alkor was allowed to train and learn as promised, but never elevated to any rank of influence. They granted him the title of "Master" to affirm his rise through the ranks, but little more.
He was sent to kill, just like before- and he only grew better with practice.
It was his Dark Masters who sold him to the Republic, shady dealings in exchange for wealth and influence. When the Kiffar took him, it was in his sleep.
He was put in stasis before he ever woke.
Then came the Reaping.
