There wasn't much activity after Adieumus gave his report. Various Jedi approached him, and got some clarification on some of the details...some of which had come in during the meeting itself. The RDMC was close to coming up with a preliminary antivirus, along with dispersion methods geared toward trying to cure those that were already infected on other worlds.
An individual with a thick accent spoke up, and said what Adi himself was thinking...it was too early, too soon after losing so many. Right now, it was time to look past light and dark, and look toward who had -done- this to the universe. Then, there was the bright spot...Puck. The little sentient toy had clambered up to Adi's lap, subsequently being placed on his shoulder. There the little sentient plush toy sat, watching the goings on.
Out of the corner of his eye, Matango had spotted another familiar face...Atton Kaelin. It would seem he had proven just as tough and resilient as always, and survived the plague thus far. It would make sense....Atton was harder to kill than a case of the Corellian Clap. Walking over, Adi put his hand on the man's shoulder, smiling broadly.
"Good to see you made it, my friend. Feel like tagging along on our trip to Honoghr? We are going to check on the progress of the antivirus. Its fairly clear now...the plague has pretty much burned itself out in most of Nystao, and we have security teams sweeping the streets around the clock.
I figure we both could use a drink. I just need to talk to Sam before we head out. If you wanna go along, just catch up with me."
He then made his way over to Sam, waiting as a couple of the Jedi finished their conversation with the other man. Nodding respectfully, Adi announced his leave.
"I am on my way to Honoghr, to check on the state of things. You have an open invitation to come anytime. Besides, I figure you would want to see the progress that the Red Dawn has made so far on their antivirus research. Perhaps they could even use your help....they are on the verge of a breakthrough."
Matango let the offer hang in the air for a few moments, and gave Sam time to think.
Drez spoke up. "Hey, ummm, you, guy going to Hanoghr, whatever the hell your name is. We're going to tag along with you." He said with a shrug. "I mean, we got nothing to do, and there is no way we're going to sit here in this mansion and do nothing about this plague. We might prove to be more valuable than you seem." Drez said as he pointed a finger at Adi.
*Atton returned Adi's smile, figuring if anyone could figure this plague stuff out, it was him. Hopefully it didn't involve jumping out of any more ships from a high altitude this time. Although with Adi, one could never be too sure of that sort of thing...*"If it'll help sort this damn plague thing out, I'm in. As long as you're not planning to throw me off of a ship again."*Atton chuckled at this.*"Not letting you live that down, by the way."
