"You would have me do..." Alkor had to laugh. The absurdity of the Sith's words was comical on par with the fall of the last bastion of Ancient Sith history. As rocks were hewn in every direction and the pillars crumbled to dust, the Jen'jidai cackled hellishly. "I come to this place for you to tell me to do as I already intend. Perfect, Sith, absolutely perfect. Nothing could amuse me more than the dangerous game you have decided to play with your words."
Korriban shuddered and spasmed as the Temple was torn asunder, swallowed whole by the planet's sandy surface. Jagged, ornate rocks that once jutted skyward now seeped down into the sediment to be forgotten- the one thing that those ancient Lords feared the most. In a moment of fickle disdain, Alkor fulfilled their horrific prophecy.
And after only a second of satisfaction, he was left humorless. The smile faded from his lips. "I will be this... Ravager that you value so dearly, but make no mistake. No gods, no devils, not a Jedi nor a Sith will keep me from what you call "freedom." Step in the way, and I will scatter your bones indiscriminate from all else."
He turned toward where the doorway once stood, only the shifting sands at his feet a testament that anything ever existed there. "I will return to my ship," he spoke quietly once more, over his shoulder. "There is much left to do before the darkness calls for war once more."
"Good," Abaddon said in response to Alkor's rigid acceptance to being the Lord of Ravage. He didn't expect it to be easy, nor did he expect it to come with no strings attached. "Go then and return to what it is your heart desires for the galaxy will come to know your wrath soon. It will be cleansed of all those unworthy of it." As the Dark Lord finished, he did not keep his attention from his new Lord of Ravage, for to do so, may leave way for an attempt on himself for Abaddon posed one of the challenges Alkor so desired in life. He relished in that as for a time, at least, it would keep Alkor close by. For a time until the Demon of Corellia sought to elevate himself further with another challenge.
The tension still hung heavy in the air and Abaddon had not forgotten the silent stalker that remained. He'd spoken, but they'd been word of little consequence. The words had been those of a philosophical thought and perhaps such words would draw into a strength for the Order. Yes, a strength the Order could use to mold itself and advance its cause. Acknowledging this, Abaddon's next words directed themselves to the man. "You come to the call, but lie within the shadows. What makes you worthy to live within the galaxy's liberation?"
He watched the one that had been talking to Abaddon walk away in silence, he had a feeling that man if he could still be called that would one day be a problem for him and others like him. He dusted off his cloak quickly and in doing so allowed a couple moments where Abaddon could see the three sabers hanging at his right hip. While he wasn't too keen on it he had Abaddon's full attention now though was glad enough right now that he had been seen as a lesser threat than the others who had come to answer Abaddon's call.
"What makes me worthy? First by what means are we measuring worth? Physical power? Ability to manipulate The Force? Wealth? Knowledge? He commented back, his tone flat and holding no hints as to whether or not he was mocking or seriously asking these questions of Abaddon. "If I had to hazard a guess you are asking what about me makes it worth your time to deal with me. While I have some power of my own I'm not widely know like most of those who've been here today. That was by design. I've seen what our kind do when gathered together and what happens when one or another gains too much power or prestige. Now though times have changed and the acting keeping to myself isn't as beneficial as attempting to work with others. You present an interesting offer and from what I've heard and seen we may be able to work together for the time being."
He hadn't moved from where he was since Abaddon hadn't shown signs of being hostile yet nor had he shown any signs that would suggest he could approach closer. "So I ask will you use what I have to offer or will you decline my assistance with your plans for the universe?"
"The galaxy has no use for the weak, yet I sense there is more strength to you than you've revealed. Time will tell of your worth to the Order and to the cleansed galaxy, but if you wish to be a part of the future, then you must prove you're worthy to exist in it." The statement was more cryptic in nature than anything, with an underlying pretense to every word uttered. However, the time was rapidly approaching that this unknown Sith could prove himself. "Soon we will reveal ourselves to the galaxy and in that moment you can prove your worth. Await that call and come when it is heard. For now, the time has come to bid farewell to this dead world and move toward our newest stronghold."
As there was no way to gauge the intentions and loyalties of this Sith, Abaddon did not explicitly state the planet he would travel to. However, he was returning home, if you could even call it that, for Ziost had been the place of his birth many years ago. This is where he'd first trained and this is where he would build his new Order - his new Empire. And there were secrets that still need be discovered.
The Dark Lord stepped forward, now, and strode from the crumbling ruins of the council chamber. There was not further reason to be here and as such, the time had come to depart.
Corec half sighed as the man left taking a moment to keep from making some smart-ass remark or another. He too took his leave of the dead and cursed temple making his way back to his ship. He radioed ahead to have them prepped for lift off and departure to another planetary system. He would make up his mind as to where on his way to the ship. Once he arrived at the landing site he boarded his ship and made his way directly to the bridge. Feeling like piloting it himself he took over the pilot's seat and set them to break atmosphere and head for one of the near by hyperspace routes.
